Just a quick example from South Australia of real-life pharmacy best practice.

A Adelaide doctor has been facing court over allegations of forged prescriptions for both Stilnox and Tramadol.

Pharmacy staff alerted the police after concerns over the suspicious scripts and the whereabouts over a supposed patient, as claimed by the doctor, that staff could not identify.

This example is just a reminder that staff need to vigilant about people abusing the system no who presents with the script.

Are your staff trained to deal with false prescriptions?

How would you handle such a situation?
