Jackie Peck, Managing Director of Pharmacy Consulting is a recognised expert within the retail pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical wholesaling, and innovate healthcare provider models in the UK, Europe and more recently globally.
Jackie has opened over fifty pharmacies from small start-ups, supermarket pharmacies, hundred hours’ pharmacies, doctor surgery pharmacies, distance selling pharmacies and a hospital pharmacy.
As a result of many years of working within the retail pharmacy, healthcare recruitment, training and consultancy, Jackie has a breadth of knowledge which allows her to find innovative solutions for her clients and leaner ways of working to improve the safety, efficiency and quality.
Jackie has been working with clients from Japan, Europe, New Zealand, Australia, India, The United Emirates. Jackie has been asked to chair symposiums and training events such as Tutela Temperature Monitoring Training Study Days, Pharmacy Business Accelerator session at the Pharmacy Show the Brussels Cool Chain Conference.
The next event will be at The Brussels Cool Chain Conference on March 2015 COOL SUPPLY SYSTEM AND SOLUTIONS 2015 -where Jackie has been asked to conduct a masterclass workshop on Harmonisation of GDP across the competent authorities and also between pharmacy and wholesaling in both the UK and some countries in EU.

Jackie’s presentation was focus on the MHRA Requirements for all the crucial steps though the process from the Storage, Mapping, Monitoring and Reporting, since is issued that all the Medicines should be stored and transported under conditions which ensure that quality is maintained, refer to pharmacists and all the Quality System Team in a good Warehouse to improve and keep compliant all requirements in this highly regulated environment.

Jackie’s presentation was part of the Pharmacy Business Accelerator series aimed towards pharmacies seeking to improve overall business performance. Jackie directly addressed the recent research she has completed on the use of automation within pharmacy and provided real-life advice on how to qualify the automation requirements of a pharmacy, smooth the installation process and optimise the overall dispensing process. The presentation also communicated her views on the operational advantages and the pitfalls.
