Business Development advice
A client with a well established pharmacy situated near to a health centre asked for business development advice. Pharmacy Consulting Ltd. identified opportunities to develop both profitability and professionalism.

Relocating a Pharmacy
The client sought our help in carefully framing a relocation application to move a community pharmacy to a better location closer to a health center and a supermarket (without a pharmacy).
The project involved research of the site and the previous contract application history. The project resulted in the establishment of new facts to back re-application which was then submitted using Pharmacy Consulting Ltd's extensive contract application and relocation experience.
Developing an additional customer service
In more affluent areas of the UK, patients who would typically pay for NHS (or private) prescriptions, were targeted with an "on demand" blood cholesterol level test, conducted in the pharmacy. Patients scoring above nationally recognised threshold levels were counselled on diet and life-style factors, and those with higher levels referred. Tests and associated counselling were charged to the patient. Pharmacy Consulting Ltd. advised on all aspects to be considered before implementing the service.
